What is Lazy Larry?
Lazy Larry is a mechanical pet and like most pets, Larry requires a lot of attention when he is awake. Fortunately, Larry is quite lazy and sleeps most of the time. When you would like to wake up Larry and play with him, all you have to do is push the sun symbol on his head. This button immediately wakes him. His eyes open and he begins to make gestures. Larry will make one of three gestures, each requesting a different action from you.
When Larry lifts up his arms, he is asking for you to pick him up. Depending on how high you lift him, he will beep a different number of times. When you set him down, he will put down his arms and ask for another action. If Larry blinks his eyes, you need to clap in his face to keep him awake. If his ears wiggle, he wants you to push the red bulls-eye on his belly. If you complete the action correctly, he will beep and continue to request new actions at random. If you do the wrong action, he will re-request that you do the correct action.
All the while, Larry’s eyes are slowly closing and he is internally keeps track of the number of correct and incorrect actions in a point system. Each correct action gains you one point and each incorrect action deducts one point from your total. After 45 seconds, Larry’s eyes are completely closed and Larry will either do a victory dance and fall back asleep if you score above four points, or throw his arms up in frustration and fall back asleep if you score four points or less.
